Watch the trailer for The Long Road Home — a story of resilience, recovery, and connection.
A long road. A shared hope.
A documentary about resilience, recovery, and the power of human connection.
More than miles.
Ken Anderlitch knows that recovery depends on connection. In The Long Road Home, he sets out on a 1,800-mile run from Washington, DC, to San Antonio, Texas, to raise awareness for families affected by substance use disorder.
As the miles accumulate, the film follows the people and experiences that give his journey meaning. Ken’s own recovery meets a larger story: parents working to rebuild their lives, families seeking a way forward together, and communities offering support along the road.
Directed by Adam Dusenbury, The Long Road Home is a portrait of resilience and an invitation to see recovery through the relationships that sustain it.
